Your Class Reps are here to answer questions, share important information, and help you along the way.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteering can be for an hour or two, for a full day, or by joining a committee.

The time commitment is up to you!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: What You Need to Know

We know the first day can bring lots of questions. Here are the answers to some common FAQs:

What happens on the first day?

  • Introductory meeting for the entire 9th grade.
  • Advisory meetings and first class sessions.

What should students bring?

  • Water and lunch (or plan to eat in the cafeteria).
  • No need to buy all supplies in advance—teachers will provide guidance.
  • Chromebook sign-up will be available if needed.

Drop-Off & Pickup

  • School starts at 8:20 AM.
  • Drop-off at 22 Tappan or other green zones on this map.
  • Pickup at Brington Road (behind 22 Tappan) or after 4 PM in front of 115 Greenough Street.

BHS ID Badges

  • Photos for badges will be taken during the first week of school.

Health & Attendance

  • School Nurses: Located at Greenough & Tappan sites. Contact them here.
  • Reporting Absences: Call Sharon Fagan at 617-713-5035 or email sharon_fagan@psbma.org.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES: Opportunities for your student

Encourage your student to explore their interests:
