Grow Your Own: BHS Indoor Farm Seedling Sale

Spring is here, and so is a fun opportunity to bring a little of BHS home with you.

The BHS Indoor Farm has had a remarkable year. Nearly 30 students and 7 staff members have been planting, watering, and composting together — turning an indoor growing space (just across the hall from the 115 cafeteria) into a genuine source of fresh greens and herbs for the school cafeteria. The work is intentional: nature-based, mindful, and low-stress, while also putting nutritious, sustainably grown food on students’ plates.

Now, that same community spirit is going home with you.

The Farm is selling organic seedlings — ready to transplant at your home this May.

This is your chance to get a head start on your own vegetable garden, and your purchase directly supports the program by helping fund additional soil and seeds for next year.

Seedlings are $6 each. Orders must be placed by Friday, April 17 at 4 PM, and pickup will be in May (you’ll receive details on designated pickup times after ordering).

And if you want to see the farm in action before you buy, stop by the growing space across the hall from the 115 cafeteria. It’s worth a look.
