Dear Parents and Caregivers,
It may be summer, but BHS staff are already hard at work preparing for the coming year. As part of that process, many teachers and staff have created BHS teacher wish lists 2025—collections of books, materials, and classroom resources they’d love to share with students. You can help by taking just a few minutes now to donate via Brookline Booksmith, Amazon, or Tappan Green. Here’s how it works:
Brookline Booksmith
Please make your purchases online rather than in-store. This allows us to receive a tax exemption and makes tracking easier.
Avoid adding personal items to your cart—wish list items are shipped directly to BHS, so please keep them separate.
Teachers and Staff listing items at Booksmith:
Audrey Birkett (English), Christina Butler (Health & Fitness), Kelly de Oliveira (Special Education), Michael Driscoll (Performing Arts), Devyn Gonsalves (English), Mayra Hernandez (Performing Arts), Megan Kennedy Justice (Math), Stacy Kissel (Science), Maura McGill (Library), and Jack Reed (Science)
Amazon
Click here to access the Amazon wish list. Be sure to sign in to your Amazon account after clicking.
Each item includes a note from the staff member about how it will be used.
At checkout, choose “Brookline High PTO’s Gift Registry” under “Other Addresses” to send your donation directly to school.
Tappan Green (College Rep + Guidance Meetups)
One of our partially funded grants supports meetups between college reps and BHS guidance staff at the Tappan Green restaurant.
You can support this initiative by donating gift cards to Tappan Green.
To participate, please email the PTO co-presidents directly at copresidents@bhs-pto.org for donation instructions.
Thank you for everything you did to support BHS during the 2024–25 school year. We’re excited to continue building a strong and inclusive community together in 2025–26.
Warmly,
Ayanna McPhail, Jeff Rudolph & Chris Kaczmarek
