Thanks to the generous contributions of BHS parents to the PTO, the Dress for Success grant continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Brookline High School students.
Each year, this grant provides critical resources to students in the Bridge program as they transition from high school to vocational training or the workforce. Whether it’s professional clothing, tools, or supplies, the support ensures that students are equipped to succeed beyond BHS.
“The PTO’s support has been incredible,” said Transition Counselor Brendan McCarthy. “One of this year’s graduates overcame challenges many couldn’t imagine as he prepared to attend carpentry or plumbing training. Thanks to the Dress for Success grant, we were able to equip him with top-of-the-line tools to start his career—turning a setback into an opportunity.”
More than material assistance, the Dress for Success grant represents a community-wide investment in equity, opportunity, and the belief in every student’s future. Thank you to all the parents who made this possible—one backpack, one toolkit, and one life-changing step at a time. and one future at a time.
