As the school year concludes, Brookline High School extends its heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Darby Neff-Verre, who is retiring after a distinguished 38-year career in school counseling and social work.
The Darby Neff-Verre retirement marks the end of a decade-long tenure as BHS’s coordinator of counseling and guidance. In that role, she provided steady leadership and compassionate support to students, families and colleagues.
Throughout her career, she has been a tireless advocate for student well-being, helping ensure that all students feel safe, supported and seen—both in school and as they prepare for life beyond BHS.
Her retirement is also an opportunity to recognize her legacy of service, empathy and professionalism.
We are grateful for her dedication and the positive impact she has had on generations of students. We thank her and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
