We are absolutely bursting with pride to announce that our very own Carolyn Castellano, instrumental and digital music teacher at Brookline High School, has been nominated for the prestigious Manilow Music Project Teacher Award!
This incredible award recognizes outstanding music teachers who go above and beyond to bring the joy and power of music to their students’ lives. And the exciting news doesn’t stop there! The Manilow Music Teacher Award comes with $5000 worth of instruments for the winner’s classroom.
For those who know Carolyn, this nomination comes as no surprise. She has been a cornerstone of the BHS music program since the 1996-97 school year, and her impact over the past nearly 30 years is immeasurable. She has dedicated her career to transforming and shaping the music program, fostering a love for music in countless students, and creating opportunities for them to explore their musical talents.
