With the help of a PTO grant—made possible by your generous support—BHS was honored to welcome former U.S. Paralympic medalist Anna Johannes as a featured speaker for this year’s Day of Disability Education.
Anna joined a dynamic panel of individuals with diverse abilities and life experiences, all sharing powerful personal stories around the theme of “Belonging.”
The panel filled the auditorium with more than 900 students in attendance, and Anna’s warmth and enthusiasm captivated the audience. She even passed her Olympic medal around!
It was a memorable event that showcased the importance of inclusivity and celebrating all abilities.
Thank you again for helping make this Day of Disability Education possible!
