Are you seeking a high school experience combining flexibility, academic rigor, and hands-on learning?

The ACE (Alternative Choices in Education)program at Brookline High School offers students a unique, project-based approach that allows them to progress at their own pace while preparing for college and beyond.

What is ACE?

ACE is a small, tight-knit learning community designed for students in grades 10-12 who thrive in a more personalized educational setting. With a total enrollment of 55 students, ACE offers:

  • With a competency-based approach, honors-level courses allow students to advance as they master skills and content.
  • Students get a rigorous college-prep curriculum, with graduates successfully accepted into top colleges nationwide.
  • A flexible and personalized learning experience ensures students develop strong academic foundations and real-world skills.

Is ACE Right for Your Student?

ACE is ideal for students who:

  • Prefer hands-on, project-based learning over traditional classroom instruction.
  • Want more control over their academic progress, with the ability to accelerate their studies.
  • Thrive in a supportive, small-group environment that fosters collaboration and mentorship.
  • Are motivated to prepare for college and career success through experiential learning opportunities.
